Ambedkar Principles

DSN-UK developed the Ambedkar Principles in 2004 to encourage international businesses and investors in South Asia to contribute to eliminating caste discrimination in the labour market. Drawing on race equality principles developed in the UK and USA and international business and human rights initiatives, they seek to address the historic injustice against Dalits through affirmative action.
